So tonight it rained. A lot. There were hundreds of people outside cheering every time it thundered and it was awesome. Then officers of the law told us we were going to get struck by lightning. So when the lightning stopped we went back out and played in the water that was covering everything. When there's 6 inches of water on a grassy field you can slip and slide for quite a ways. That running white kid in that picture is me!I got some grass burns but it was a ton of fun.
Some of you may be interested to know that the drainage system around here kicks ass. There was water over my knees in some places directly following the storm, and by the time we got back in about an hour later there was just a couple inches in the gutters.

ReplyDeleteYou fixed it! Every time I posted I had to type in a weird code in the box with the handicap wheel chair. I know you know what I mean LOL You fixed it. Now teach me how to do this blog thing. I just came here to see if you posted again. I accidently noticed you could read your comments on the right and saw you wrote to me about the chapstick. Is there a way I could know this by email like facebook? I want an email when you post so I know to race over here. LOL I keep asking your Mom about hers and she says something about feedblitz or something LOL Call me clueless I just don't get it LOL

I use google.com/reader. It's a page where you can subscribe to blogs and news sites and whatnot so that their updates show up on that one page.
